1st Month Free on Additional Units -
Able Storage Inc.
October 13th, 2026

Already rent with Able Storage and need more space? Rent up to three qualifying Additional Units and choose free Base Rent for the move-in calendar month or the following calendar month while keeping all your Original Units. Applicable administration fees and protection-plan charges remain payable.
1. How It Works
1.1. Qualify
You must already rent at least one Able Storage unit. All your Able Storage rental accounts must be current when you enroll and when the selected free period begins.
1.2. Add Units
Request the promotion before completing each new rental. Sign the rental agreement, pay required move-in charges and begin the rental by December 31, 2026, Pacific Time. The campaign limit is three Additional Units per Occupant across all participating locations and accounts.
1.3. Choose Your Free Month
Choose one option for each qualifying Additional Unit:
- Move-in month: Base Rent is waived from the agreed rental start date through the last day of that calendar month.
- Following month: Pay prorated Base Rent for the move-in month; the entire following calendar month's Base Rent is waived.
1.4. Keep Your Original Units
Keep every Original Unit continuously rented to you through the last day of each Additional Unit's selected free month. If an Original rental ends early, the affected waiver ends going forward as explained below.
2. Quick Eligibility Check
- The Occupant is the individual or actual business customer named in the rental agreement.
- All Able Storage rental accounts must have no past-due rent, fees or other amounts lawfully due at enrollment and when the free period begins. Properly waived rent is not past due.
- Up to three Additional Units may qualify in total during this campaign. With one existing unit, these may be your second, third and fourth units.
- The promotion is for new additional rentals. Transfers, replacements of existing units, renewals and rentals completed before requesting it do not qualify.
- All Original Units must remain rented through the selected free month.
- Participating locations: Rialto, Moreno Valley and Monterey Park. Subject to unit availability.
3. Frequently Asked Questions
3.1. Does free rent mean there is nothing to pay?
No. Free applies only to Base Rent for the storage space. Applicable administration fees, merchandise, deposits, taxes and other non-rent charges remain payable when disclosed and lawfully due. Rent and charges for Original Units continue as usual. The $10 monthly Able Customer Protection Plan charge applies to each enrolled Additional Unit unless you provide accepted proof of your own insurance meeting the rental agreement requirements for that unit. This charge applies during the free month. The separate plan addendum governs its protection, limits and exclusions; this promotion does not itself provide property coverage. The applicable charges, move-in total, charges during the free month and recurring charges afterward will be disclosed before completing the rental.
3.2. Is the offer for 30 days or a calendar month?
It is for one selected calendar month. For example, a rental starting October 13 may receive free Base Rent for October 13–31, or the Occupant may pay prorated October rent and select November 1–30 free. Only one period is waived. The rental start date controls even if belongings are placed in the unit later. Select the dates before completing the rental; they cannot be shifted afterward except to correct a documented enrollment error.
3.3. Which existing units do I have to keep?
Original Units are all units you already rent before enrolling an Additional Unit. Units added together share the same Original Unit list. A later enrollment may have a different list and free-period dates. Keep every listed Original Unit continuously rented to you from enrollment through the selected free month. Keeping just one of several Original Units is insufficient. A later rental does not replace this obligation. Transferring an Original rental to another customer ends its retention for this offer. An Able Storage required relocation or genuine name correction for the same customer does not cancel the benefit. If Able Storage ends an Original rental for its convenience while you comply with its terms, the agreed benefit will be preserved or an equivalent substitute arranged with you.
3.4. What if an Original rental ends before the free month starts?
The upcoming waiver does not apply to any Additional Unit whose Original Unit list includes that rental. Regular Base Rent for the upcoming month remains payable. For example, if you select November free but an Original rental ends October 31, November's rent is payable in full. All Original Units must remain rented through November 30 to receive the full November benefit.
3.5. What if an Original rental ends during the free month?
The waiver ends going forward on affected Additional Units. Base Rent resumes the day after the effective end date and is prorated for the remaining calendar days using the regular rate and proration method agreed before enrollment. For example, if an Original rental ends November 15, November 1–15 stays waived and prorated rent resumes November 16–30. This promotion adds no early-termination penalty or automatic repayment of earlier free rent. Able Storage will provide written notice of the effective date, days charged, calculation and payment due date. A new charge is not overdue before that stated due date. The effective end date follows the Original Unit's rental agreement; advance move-out notice alone does not end it. Required notice and move-out steps still apply.
3.6. Can a December rental receive January 2027 free?
Yes. Each Additional Unit must be enrolled, its rental agreement signed, required move-in charges paid and the rental begun by December 31, 2026, Pacific Time, within available rental-processing hours. An inquiry or reservation alone does not qualify. A December rental may select January 1–31, 2027 free. Prorated December Base Rent remains payable, and all Original Units must remain rented through January 31.
3.7. Can I restart the offer with another account or rental?
No. Each completed rental under this offer counts toward the three-unit campaign limit even if you later end it. Closing or recreating an account, changing a name or contact details, or ending and rerenting a unit does not reset the limit or create another free period. Different trading names for the same business do not create separate Occupants. Another person or entity acting only as a nominee to disguise the same customer does not create another limit. A shared address, family relationship or shared payment card alone does not establish misuse by separate customers.
3.8. What happens if eligibility information is incorrect?
Provide accurate identity, account and rental information. Able Storage may verify records, refuse an ineligible request or end the remaining waiver for a material misrepresentation established by reliable records. The reason will be explained in writing, with an opportunity to address a record error before cancellation. An allegation alone does not create an extra fee or automatic chargeback. Any separate legal remedy remains subject to applicable law.
3.9. Can I combine this with another promotion or receive cash instead?
Two offers cannot discount the same rent charge twice. Refer a Friend credits may be used only in months permitted by that program; its rules exclude months receiving another promotional rental discount. Its carry-forward rules continue to apply. The waiver cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash, applied to Original Units or used to pay overdue balances. Unused free days create no credit or refund. Other promotions remain subject to their own terms.
3.10. What happens after the free month?
Regular Base Rent and applicable recurring charges resume while the Additional Unit remains rented. The rental agreement's initial term, renewal, payment and move-out requirements still apply. This offer adds no minimum paid rental period after the free month. Before completing the rental, you will receive the agreed promotion dates, Original Unit list, retention end date, regular rent, charges and proration method, together with the required rental disclosures about initial and renewal terms, any maximum rental fee chargeable during the first 12 months, termination steps and owner contact information. Later changes must comply with applicable law and required notice. They will not retroactively reduce a properly enrolled free benefit or add a new promotion condition.
3.11. What if staff did not record the offer or there is a billing error?
Ask the renting location to review the records. Supported errors will be corrected. A timely promotion request will not be denied solely because an employee or system failed to record it when reliable records establish the request. Reliable records may also be used to correct a missing move-out receipt.
4. Questions or Account Review Requests
For an enrollment or billing review, contact your participating Able Storage location. Include your name, unit or account number, contact details and the dates or charges you want reviewed. Do not include card details or other sensitive financial information. These terms change the rental agreement only as expressly stated for this promotion. Required statutory notices and procedures remain applicable. Nothing here limits rights, refunds or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived under California or federal law.
