1st Month Free on Additional Units - Terms & Conditions
Able Storage Inc.
October 14th, 2026
1. Official Terms and Conditions
1.1. Definitions
“Able Storage” means the facility owner or operator identified in your rental agreement. “Occupant” means the individual or actual business customer named in the rental agreement. Different accounts or trading names for the same customer do not create separate Occupants. “Additional Unit” means a newly rented unit that qualifies for this promotion while the Occupant continues renting all Original Units. “Original Units” means every unit already rented by the Occupant immediately before the applicable promotional enrollment. Additional Units enrolled together have the same Original Unit list. A later enrollment has its own list, which includes units already rented at that time. “Base Rent” means rent for the storage space only. It excludes administration fees, insurance or protection-plan charges, merchandise, deposits, taxes, late fees, lien charges and other non-rent amounts.
1.2. Eligibility and Participating Locations
This offer is available to existing Occupants at participating Able Storage locations in Rialto, Moreno Valley and Monterey Park, subject to unit availability. The Occupant must already rent at least one unit before enrollment. All of the Occupant’s Able Storage rental accounts must be current at enrollment and when the selected free period begins. “Current” means that no rent, fees or other amounts lawfully due are past due. Rent properly waived under this offer is not past due.
1.3. Enrollment and Deadline
For each Additional Unit, the Occupant must request the promotion before completing the rental, complete enrollment, sign the rental agreement, successfully pay the required move-in charges and begin the rental by December 31, 2026, Pacific Time, within available rental-processing hours. An inquiry or reservation alone does not qualify. A returned move-in payment does not satisfy the payment requirement. The Additional Unit, selected free dates, Original Unit list and retention end date must be confirmed in the rental documentation before the rental is completed. An eligible December rental may select January 1–31, 2027 as its free month. Prorated December Base Rent remains payable, and every Original Unit must remain rented through January 31, 2027.
1.4. Three-Unit Limit and Excluded Transactions
Each Occupant may receive this promotion on up to three Additional Units in total across all participating locations and accounts during this campaign. For an Occupant with one existing unit, the offer may apply to the second, third and fourth units. Each completed rental enrolled in the promotion counts toward the three-unit limit even if that rental later ends. Moving out and renting again, closing or recreating an account, or changing a name or contact information does not reset the limit or provide another free period. Transfers, replacements of Original Units, renewals and rentals completed before the promotion was requested do not qualify, except where reliable records establish a timely request omitted by an employee or system as described in Section 1.12.
1.5. Selection of the Free Calendar Month
Before completing each qualifying Additional Unit rental, the Occupant must choose one of the following options:
- Move-in calendar month: Base Rent is waived from the agreed rental start date through the last day of that calendar month. This is not a separate 30-day period, and no benefit applies to days before the rental begins.
- Following calendar month: The Occupant pays prorated Base Rent for the move-in month. Base Rent for the entire following calendar month is waived.
Only one selected calendar month receives the waiver for each Additional Unit. The agreed rental start date controls even if belongings are placed in the unit later. The selection cannot be shifted after the rental is completed, except to correct a documented enrollment error.
1.6. Base Rent Only; Other Charges
Only Base Rent is free. Applicable administration fees, protection-plan charges and other non-rent amounts remain payable when disclosed and lawfully due. Rent and other charges for Original Units continue as usual. The $10 monthly Able Customer Protection Plan charge applies to each enrolled Additional Unit unless the Occupant provides accepted proof of their own insurance meeting the rental agreement’s requirements for that unit. This charge also applies during the selected free month. The separate plan addendum governs its protection, limits and exclusions; this promotion itself does not provide property coverage. The applicable fee amounts, total due at move-in, charges during the free month and recurring charges afterward will be disclosed before the rental is completed. Any advertised or quoted price will include mandatory charges as required by applicable law. These terms do not authorize a charge that is not otherwise disclosed and lawful.
1.7. Continuous Rental of Every Original Unit
Every Original Unit must remain continuously rented to the same Occupant from enrollment through the last day of the selected free month. Keeping only one of several Original Units is insufficient. Renting another unit later does not replace this requirement. Ending an Original Unit rental or transferring it to another customer ends its retention for this promotion. An Able Storage required relocation or a genuine name correction for the same customer does not cancel the benefit. If Able Storage ends an Original Unit rental for its convenience while the Occupant complies with its terms, the agreed benefit will be preserved or an equivalent substitute arranged with the Occupant. Each Additional Unit is evaluated using its own confirmed Original Unit list and free-period dates. When an Original Unit rental ends, Section 1.8 applies to each Additional Unit whose list includes that Original Unit.
1.8. If an Original Unit Rental Ends Early
Before the selected free month: If an Original Unit rental ends before the selected free month begins, the upcoming waiver does not begin for the affected Additional Units. Regular Base Rent for that month remains payable. During the selected free month: If an Original Unit rental ends during the selected free month, the waiver ends going forward. Base Rent on the affected Additional Units resumes the day after the effective end date and is prorated for the remaining calendar days using the regular rate and proration method disclosed and agreed before enrollment. Base Rent validly waived for earlier eligible days remains waived. This promotion adds no early-termination penalty or automatic repayment of previously waived rent. Able Storage will provide written notice identifying the Original Unit, effective end date, days charged, calculation and payment due date. A newly restored charge is not overdue before that stated due date. For example, if November is the selected free month and an Original Unit rental ends November 15, November 1–15 remains waived and prorated rent resumes November 16–30. If the Original Unit rental ends October 31, November Base Rent is payable in full. The effective rental end date is determined under the Original Unit’s rental agreement. Advance move-out notice alone does not end the rental. Required notice and move-out steps still apply; reliable records may be used to correct a missing move-out receipt.
1.9. Use of the Benefit and Other Promotions
The waiver applies only to the qualifying Additional Unit and selected dates while that unit remains rented. It cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash, applied to Original Units or used to pay an overdue balance. Unused free days do not create a credit or refund, except as required by law. Two promotions cannot discount the same rent charge twice. Other promotions, including Refer a Friend, remain subject to their own terms. A referral credit cannot be applied to a rental month already receiving this promotional rent discount; any carryforward is governed by the referral program’s terms.
1.10. Verification and Prevention of Misuse
Occupants must provide accurate identity, account and rental information. Able Storage may verify eligibility, payment status, enrollment timing, account ownership and duplicate use through ordinary business records, applying the same objective criteria to all participants. Using aliases, duplicate accounts, different trading names or another person or entity acting only as a nominee to disguise the same customer does not create another three-unit limit. A shared address, family relationship or shared payment card alone does not establish misuse by genuinely separate customers. Able Storage may deny an ineligible enrollment or cancel the remaining waiver for a material misrepresentation established by reliable records. It will explain the reason in writing and give the Occupant an opportunity to address a record error before cancellation. An allegation alone does not establish fraud or authorize an extra fee or automatic chargeback. Any separate recovery or legal remedy remains subject to the rental agreement and applicable law.
1.11. Rental Disclosures and Rent After the Free Period
Regular Base Rent and applicable recurring charges resume after the selected free month while the Additional Unit remains rented. The rental agreement’s initial term, renewal, payment and move-out requirements continue to apply. This promotion adds no minimum paid rental period after the free month. The rental agreement will contain the required disclosures, including the promotional rate and duration, initial and renewal terms, whether rent may change, the maximum rental fee chargeable during the first 12 months, termination steps and owner contact information. Disclosures required on the agreement’s first page will appear there in the legally required format. This website page does not replace those disclosures. Rent changes, collection, access restrictions and lien procedures remain subject to the rental agreement and applicable notice requirements. No later delinquency, by itself, retroactively cancels Base Rent validly waived for earlier eligible days.
1.12. Records, Billing Review and Privacy
Contact the location renting the Additional Unit to request review of an enrollment or billing error. Able Storage will review reliable supporting records in good faith and correct supported errors. A timely request will not be denied solely because an employee or system failed to record it when reliable records establish that the applicable requirements were met. Able Storage will use information reasonably necessary to administer this promotion, verify eligibility, prevent misuse and comply with law, consistent with its applicable privacy notice. Providing information for this promotion does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive marketing calls, text messages or emails. The promotion does not authorize disclosure of another customer’s private account information.
1.13. Program Changes and Promotional Communications
Able Storage may change, suspend or end the offer for future enrollments by publishing updated terms with a new effective date, subject to applicable law. A change will not reduce an agreed benefit or add a new condition to an enrollment properly completed under the earlier terms, including an eligible January 2027 free period. Advertising and employee communications must be consistent with these terms. If an Able Storage advertisement makes a specific, more favorable promise and an Occupant reasonably relies on it, Able Storage will honor that promise for the affected enrollment to the extent required by law.
1.14. Other Legal Terms
California law governs this promotion, subject to applicable federal law. The rental agreement separately governs use of the storage space. If these terms conflict with the rental agreement solely about this promotional rent waiver, these terms control that promotional issue. Nothing in these terms limits any right, refund, notice, defense or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Applicable taxes, if any, remain governed by law.
