Know someone who needs storage space? Refer them to Able Storage. When your referral names you and completes a qualifying move-in, you earn a $50 rent credit for your Able Storage account.

1. How It Works

1.1. Refer: Tell a friend, family member, neighbor, or coworker about Able Storage.1.2. Get Named: During the move-in, your referral identifies you and provides enough information for Able Storage to locate your account.1.3. Qualify: Your referral signs a new rental agreement, pays the required move-in amount, and receives access to the storage space.1.4. Receive: After Able Storage verifies the qualifying move-in, the $50 rent credit is applied to your next eligible rental charge. If your account is delinquent, the credit remains pending and is applied when you make the payment that brings your account current.

2. Quick Eligibility Check

The referring customer must have an open Able Storage rental account when the referral is recorded.
The referred customer must not already have an active Able Storage rental agreement when the referral is recorded.
The referrer and referred customer must be different people. Self-referrals, duplicate claims, and sham rentals are not eligible.
One $50 credit is available per qualifying referred customer, even if that customer rents more than one space in the same move-in transaction.
Participating locations: Rialto, Moreno Valley, and Monterey Park.

3. Frequently Asked Questions

3.1. Does the referred customer have to make a second monthly payment?

No. The $50 credit is earned when the Referred Customer completes a Qualifying Move-In. A second payment is not required.

3.2. What if the referred customer later becomes delinquent or moves out?

That later event does not cancel an earned credit. A credit may be corrected only for one of the specific reasons listed in Section 5.9.

3.3. What if my own account is delinquent?

You remain eligible. The credit remains pending while your account is delinquent or in the lien process and cannot reduce the amount required to bring the account current. When you pay the full delinquent balance and the payment is completed, the $50 credit is applied to your next eligible future rental charge.

3.4. What if I already receive another promotion?

A referral credit cannot be applied to a rental month already receiving another promotional rental discount. It carries forward to the next eligible rental month while your account remains open.

3.5. Can I earn more than one credit?

Yes. You may earn one $50 credit for each separately verified Referred Customer. No more than one $50 referral credit may be applied in the same rental month. Additional earned credits carry forward while your account remains open.

3.6. What if my rent is less than $50 or I have prepaid?

The credit applies only up to the Eligible Rent available. Any unused portion carries forward to the next eligible rental month while your account remains open. It is canceled when the account is closed.

3.7. What if I move out before using all of the credit?

When you move out and close your account, any unused or pending referral credit is canceled. It is not refunded, transferred, or paid in cash.

3.8. What if staff did not record the referral?

Ask the participating location for a review. A timely referral is not lost if reliable records show that the Referred Customer identified you during the move-in but an employee or system failed to record it.
